Aaron Victor

In-betweener / 2D Animator

Aaron Victor is a 2D animator from Canada. Having previously enrolled in Algonquin College’s animation program, he has already done work on other people’s indie projects, one notably being Youtuber LS Mark’s “Catching Up” pilot.

In his spare time, he dabbles in 3D modeling, game development and mod creation.

Christian Avender

Animation Director

As a VIU Bachelor of Arts Major Graduate, VFS 2D Alumni Honors Graduate and Author of “The Animation Smears Book: Uncovering Film’s Most Elusive Technique”, Christian has always been passionate about animation.

Having worked as a 2D animator, character animator and revisionist, he has worked with clients such as Cartoon Network’s “Apple & Onion”, Netflix and Paramount and appeared in credits for productions such as Nickelodeon’s “Bossy Bear” and Warner Bros “Tom and Jerry: Snowman’s Land.

He’s experienced in Adobe Animate and Toon Boom.

Jeeva Adarsh

Sound Designer

Jeeva Adarsh is a sound designer from India with a passion for audio. A dedicated individual, he has a Diploma in Sound Engineering. Having worked on a variety of projects across film, music, and digital media, he’s applied his skills in sound design, editing, and mixing to create immersive and impactful audio experiences.

With a strong foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of sound, he brings professionalism, precision, and a deep passion for storytelling to every project. He strives to ensure that each sound not only complements the visuals but also enhances the emotional and narrative depth of the work.

Kimberley Lee

Sound Designer / Foley Editor

Kimberley brings stories to life through sound as a Foley artist and sound designer. She specializes in crafting authentic, immersive audio that makes media feel real – from diverse footsteps to richly textured sound details in films, animations, and games. With a background in Digital Music and Sound Design, she balances technical precision with creative intuition.

In addition to Foley performance, Kimberley has honed her skills in audio editing and music editing, creating cohesive sound experiences that enhance storytelling.

Fontaine Chu

Sound Designer / Foley Editor

Fontaine is an experienced audio professional with a background spanning education and creative production. Previously working as a Teaching Assistant at Vancouver Film School, she currently serves as co-founder and Sound Director at an independent game studio

She provides comprehensive audio services including general editing for film projects (background ambience, foley, sound effects and music integration), technical sound design for games, implementation of interactive audio systems and sound direction. Adaptable in any situation, she brings both a creative vision and technical expertise to each project.

Brandon Corona

Lead Composer

Bringing his company Crazy Corner Sound (a passionate collective of sound professionals dedicated to supporting independent film, game, and visual media productions) along with him, Brandon takes the lead as PARAGON OF XITHEA’s Composer and Sound Mixer.

He has experience both composing and mixing inside and outside of Film School, with projects in Canada, Mexico, and various other places. His work has been featured in multiple film festival selections, including features for MUBI and DocuFilm León.

Luisa Balderas Mussa

Social Media Manager / Graphic Designer

Paulina is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Mexico. She graduated with a degree in Technological Creativity from Carolina University. She has experience in Graphic Design and Community Management.

She is a skilled Graphic Designer, Social Media Manager, Video Editing, and Community Manager.

Renny Wang

Concept Artist

Renny is a Canadian illustrator and concept artist pursuing her dreams at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She’s always loved to imagine stories and worlds inside her mind. At school, Renny discovered the world of visual development and since then has tailored her interests in the field.

She mainly works in the digital medium, but loves to use watercolor, colored pencils, pen and ink as well. While she is still growing as an artist, Renny enjoys incorporating deep messages and stories into her personal work.

Kaysie Vazquez

Art Director / Background Artist

Kaysie Vasquez is a Guatemalan Illustrator and Visual Development artist from New York. Her work mostly consists of saturated backgrounds, with an exploration in environments that incorporate her Guatemalan influences.

She is more than ready to take on this new challenge, having had experience working on multiple indie short films as a BG Artist and Art Director.

Wesley Lin

Lead Character Designer

Wesley is a Concept and Storyboard Artist based in Southern California with over 10 years of experience bringing stories to life. His work spans a wide array of styles, from whimsical characters and cartoony worlds to realistic concepts and creatures.

He’s contributed to projects in mobile games, animation, and toys, adapting his artistic approach to meet the needs of each unique vision.

Anna Burrlein

FX Artist / 2D Animator

Anna is a 2D FX artist from Germany with lots of indie animation experience. Having been a production coordinator, clean-up artist, editor, writer and FX artist, she knows the pipeline like the back of her hand, and values clear communication more than anything.

She also loves to find out how she fits in each individual team. Overall, she just promotes a positive and collaborative environment.

Ricardo Ricaud

Clean-up Animator / Web Designer

Ricardo is an illustrator and clean-up artist living in Mexico. Even though he studied engineering, anything related to animation and art has always been his passion. He sees himself as a self-taught artist who dreams of being involved in the animation industry.

He has collaborated on student animated short films and some indie projects still in production. He is always ready to lend a hand and has a keen eye for details, and always looks to deliver quality work. He also has experience as a graphic designer and web designer.

Ari Hester

Storyboard Artist / 2D Animator

Ari is a professional storyboard artist, illustrator, and wannabe comic artist that specializes in drama and action storyboarding for television. Having worked at Powerhouse Animation Studios for six years, Ari’s boarded for popular Netflix franchises like “Castlevania”, “Skull Island”, Masters of the Universe: Revelations, and “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft”.

Lyrica Albert

Story Writer

Lyrica Albert is a 27 year old long haul trucker with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Born and raised in a small town in Southern Louisiana, she’s done everything from retail to nonprofit work, even helping to found a small business.

She enjoys gaming, music and anime just as much as an ATV ride. But through it all she has maintained a passion for reading and writing. She has always kept her nose in a book and a pen in her hand.

James Oliver Ramos

Story Writer

James was a fantastic help in the beginning stages of the show’s production. Working closely with Elizabeth to develop the world of the story, James stayed up many nights, helping Elizabeth fix up the characters, superpowers and realms. Paragons of Xithea could not have been made without the assistance of this great guy!

He is also a self-proclaimed generalist, meaning he can jump from writing, to editing, to animating.

His previous experience includes working under NS2D Studios on projects like the Wisdom Saga: God Games as a Previz and Environment Artist, Vengeance Saga: 600 Strike and
Dangerous as an Assistant Animator, and on the Ithaca Saga as a Concept Artist for EPIC The Musical.

Devon Carlisle

Co-Writer

Devon’s journey as a writer began in 2013 when he started his 4 years of study at the Bosa Centre with a focus on film. This is where he gained an interest in directing, screenwriting and production sound.

Since graduating in 2017 he has worked on various independent non-union productions as a sound mixer and boom operator. He has also written for a 48-hr Film Festival. Outside of sound work he has a strong desire for screenwriting.

He has been involved in the Vancouver film industry for the past 5 years helping many independent filmmakers realize their creative dreams. With a strong passion and zeal, he strives to help people tell their personal stories through the lens of film. You can be guaranteed that if Devon is on your project, he will do everything in his power to see that film to the end.

Jocelyn Evans

Producer

Jocy is an ambitious producer and screenwriter from Adelaide, South Australia, who has gained experience from working on Australian television productions, writing and producing live comedy shows for festivals including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and working on Hollywood feature films.

Her first experience working in the animation world was in 2022 where she was an animation production co-ordinator for Piece by Piece (2024), a LEGO movie about the life and career of the hip-hop artist and producer Pharrell Williams, which was directed by Academy Award-winning documentarian, Morgan Neville. Most recently she has helped produce VFX at Rising Sun Pictures in Adelaide where she helped deliver work for Netflix’s Happy Gilmore 2 (2025) and the upcoming Mortal Kombat II (2026).

Jocy is driven to help tell stories that make people feel less alone, loves to make everything pink, and will never miss an opportunity to pat a friendly dog.

Leonardo Cohen

Producer / Video Editor

Leonardo Cohen is a Mexican producer and visual storyteller with a background in audiovisual production and marketing. With hands-on experience across various short films, music videos, and TV sets he has developed strong skills in production design, direction, and coordination.

He has also produced and directed independent projects showcased at festivals and delivered client work across Canada and Mexico. He is currently based in Burnaby, B.C., and brings a bout of creativity, discipline, and cross-functional production knowledge to every project he joins.

Nick Mahoney

Producer / Video Editor

Nick is a technical artist by day, producer by night – here to help push and shape “PARAGONS OF XITHEA” to be the best it can be. Graduating with a 3D Technical Arts and Animation degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2024, Nick has since worked as a 3D rigging artist on countless short films and indie games.

He is most known for his production and behind-the-scenes experience on “Jazz Man”, “Phantom Fun Arcade”, and the fan-remake movie, “The SpongeBob Movie Rehydrated”. When not rotting on a computer, Nick loves hiking, cooking, and trying new cafes/restaurants.

Daniel Murillo

Associate Producer

A current student at California State University, Daniel is already a powerhouse in the indie animation scene. While going for his BFA in Entertainment Art/ Animation and an MFA, Daniel is already the founder of Daniel Animations LLC, working with a dedicated team of animators and musicians to create the pilot episode of his first show, “Phantom Fun Arcade”.

With Andres Issac Alvarez’s blessing, he has already ventured out into the world, striving to connect with other creatives and help the indie animation scene grow. By joining “PARAGONS OF XITHEA” as an Associate Producer, he hopes to take it and Prosperity Studios to new heights.

Elizabeth Ababio

Founder / Director / Showrunner

From the young age of four, Elizabeth has always had a strong love for film and television.

Self-publishing her own novel at the age of 16, Elizabeth went on to study 2D Animation at the Art Institute of Vancouver before switching majors to Film and TV Screenwriting and Directing at Langara College.

During school she directed Detective Ultra, a 3 minute short film that ended up being selected for the Whistler Film Festival’s Student Film section. She then began working in the film industry, very recently making the Top 5 finalists for the 20th anniversary of the Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon under the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, beating out of 200+ applicants and directing a vertical film series for it.

Elizabeth Ababio

Margaret (Maggie) Opoku

Having performed in live theatre shows and plays since she was 8 years old, Elizabeth was more than happy to take on the role of Maggie Opoku. As well as a director and screenwriter, Elizabeth is also an actress, working in the live action industry in both principal and background roles. Recently she starred in Shakespeare Sings, an original musical based around Shakespeare’s most popular stageplays at the 41st Vancouver Fringe Festival. Now she is ready to take on the world of voice acting!
